Population change - Demographic balance and crude rates at national level

In 2005, Hungary's population change increased by 3.2% compared to 2004, reaching 9.7.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 10.2.

Hungary ranks 19th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 1.0% (from 9.6 in 2000).
