Population change - Demographic balance and crude rates at national level

In 2012, Slovakia's population change increased by 1.0% compared to 2011, reaching 9.7.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 10.1.

Slovakia ranks 15th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 3.0% (from 10.0 in 2007).
