Employment rates by citizenship

In 2024, Slovakia's employment rates by citizenship decreased by 0.1% compared to 2023, reaching 68.3%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 66.2%.

Slovakia ranks 17th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 9.5% (from 62.4% in 2019).
