Population structure indicators at national level

In 2024, Hungary's population structure indicators at national level increased by 1.2% compared to 2023, reaching 34.7.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 37.0.

Hungary ranks 16th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 10.5% (from 31.4 in 2019).
