Population structure indicators at national level

In 2023, Hungary's population structure indicators at national level increased by 0.6% compared to 2022, reaching 34.3.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 36.4.

Hungary ranks 16th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 12.5% (from 30.5 in 2018).
