Population in private households by educational attainment level

In 2024, Romania's population in private households by educational attainment level increased by 3.2% compared to 2023, reaching 19.2%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 36.1%.

Romania ranks 27th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 4.3% (from 18.4% in 2019).
