Unemployment by sex and age - annual data

In 2025, Hungary's unemployment by sex and age decreased by 2.2% compared to 2024, reaching 4.4%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 6.0%.

Hungary ranks 20th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 7.3% (from 4.1% in 2020).
