Unemployment by sex and age - annual data

In 2025, Slovakia's unemployment by sex and age increased by 1.9% compared to 2024, reaching 5.4%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 6.0%.

Slovakia ranks 16th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 19.4% (from 6.7% in 2020).
