Unemployment by sex and age - annual data

In 2016, Hungary's unemployment by sex and age decreased by 25.7% compared to 2015, reaching 12.7%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 20.7%.

Hungary ranks 21st out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 50.0% (from 25.4% in 2011).
