Unemployment by sex and age - annual data

In 2025, Hungary's unemployment by sex and age decreased by 8.6% compared to 2024, reaching 13.9%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 15.2%.

Hungary ranks 16th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 9.4% (from 12.7% in 2020).
