Unemployment by sex and age - annual data

In 2024, Hungary's unemployment by sex and age increased by 18.7% compared to 2023, reaching 15.2%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 14.9%.

Hungary ranks 15th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 33.3% (from 11.4% in 2019).
