Police-recorded offences by offence category

In 2019, Ireland's police-recorded offences by offence category increased by 1.4% compared to 2018, reaching 65,405.

Ireland ranks 15th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 15.7% (from 77,619 in 2014).
