Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2022, Ireland's main indicators increased by 0.6% compared to 2021, reaching 13.0%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 23.0%.

Ireland ranks 27th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 23.7% (from 10.5% in 2017).
