Population structure indicators at national level

In 2010, Italy's population structure indicators at national level increased by 0.9% compared to 2009, reaching 43.3.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 41.3.

Italy ranks 2nd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 4.1% (from 41.6 in 2005).
