Population structure indicators at national level

In 2010, Portugal's population structure indicators at national level increased by 1.0% compared to 2009, reaching 41.2.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 41.3.

Portugal ranks 8th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 5.1% (from 39.2 in 2005).
