At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2021, Latvia's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 7.0% compared to 2020, reaching 16.9%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 19.6%.

Latvia ranks 15th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 9.1% (from 18.6% in 2016).
