At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2021, Latvia's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 11.0% compared to 2020, reaching 26.3%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 17.5%.

Latvia ranks 1st out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 10.0% (from 23.9% in 2016).
