At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2025, Latvia's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 4.2% compared to 2024, reaching 24.6%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 17.1%.

Latvia ranks 1st out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 3.8% (from 23.7% in 2020).
