At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2025, Greece's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 3.5% compared to 2024, reaching 20.9%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 17.1%.

Greece ranks 6th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 17.4% (from 17.8% in 2020).
