At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2023, Latvia's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 0.5% compared to 2022, reaching 19.3%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 15.4%.

Latvia ranks 5th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 5.4% (from 20.4% in 2018).
