In 2024, Latvia's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 0.0% compared to 2023, reaching 19.3%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 15.5%.

Latvia ranks 2nd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 4.9% (from 20.3% in 2019).
