Police-recorded offences by offence category

In 2021, Latvia's police-recorded offences by offence category decreased by 38.3% compared to 2020, reaching 7,900.

Latvia ranks 23rd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 45.8% (from 14,570 in 2016).
