Police-recorded offences by offence category

In 2022, Latvia's police-recorded offences by offence category increased by 21.8% compared to 2021, reaching 9,621.

Latvia ranks 24th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 33.8% (from 14,534 in 2017).
