Distribution of population by tenure status, type of household and income group

In 2025, Latvia's distribution of population by tenure status, type of household and income group decreased by 1.8% compared to 2024, reaching 82.2%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 68.5%.

Latvia ranks 8th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 1.2% (from 81.2% in 2020).
