Unemployment by sex and age - annual data

In 2016, Latvia's unemployment by sex and age increased by 7.4% compared to 2015, reaching 17.5%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 20.7%.

Latvia ranks 16th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 43.5% (from 31.0% in 2011).
