Unemployment by sex and age - annual data

In 2023, Latvia's unemployment by sex and age decreased by 19.6% compared to 2022, reaching 12.3%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 14.6%.

Latvia ranks 17th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 0.8% (from 12.2% in 2018).
