At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2024, Lithuania's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 5.8% compared to 2023, reaching 23.6%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 16.9%.

Lithuania ranks 2nd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 3.5% (from 22.8% in 2019).
