At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2024, Greece's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 2.0% compared to 2023, reaching 20.2%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 16.9%.

Greece ranks 7th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 12.2% (from 18.0% in 2019).
