In 2020, Lithuania's police-recorded offences by offence category decreased by 13.3% compared to 2019, reaching 9,447.

Lithuania ranks 23rd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 58.5% (from 22,783 in 2015).
