In 2021, Lithuania's police-recorded offences by offence category decreased by 18.1% compared to 2020, reaching 7,736.

Lithuania ranks 24th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 61.2% (from 19,963 in 2016).
