Population structure indicators at national level

In 2008, Bulgaria's population structure indicators at national level increased by 0.5% compared to 2007, reaching 41.9.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 40.6.

Bulgaria ranks 3rd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 3.2% (from 40.6 in 2003).
