Share of energy from renewable sources

In 2014, Lithuania's share of energy from renewable sources decreased by 9.9% compared to 2013, reaching 4.4%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 6.6%.

Lithuania ranks 19th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 2.8% (from 4.5% in 2009).
