Unemployment by sex and age - annual data

In 2021, Lithuania's unemployment by sex and age decreased by 16.5% compared to 2020, reaching 7.1%.

The figure is in line with the EU-27 average of 7.1%.

Lithuania ranks 10th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 10.1% (from 7.9% in 2016).
