Unemployment by sex and age - annual data

In 2016, Lithuania's unemployment by sex and age decreased by 11.0% compared to 2015, reaching 14.5%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 20.7%.

Lithuania ranks 19th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 55.5% (from 32.6% in 2011).
