Unemployment by sex and age - annual data

In 2023, Lithuania's unemployment by sex and age increased by 16.0% compared to 2022, reaching 13.8%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 14.6%.

Lithuania ranks 15th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 24.3% (from 11.1% in 2018).
