At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2016, Luxembourg's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 10.1% compared to 2015, reaching 8.7%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 14.3%.

Luxembourg ranks 22nd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 85.1% (from 4.7% in 2011).
