At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2023, Luxembourg's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 4.5% compared to 2022, reaching 10.5%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 16.6%.

Luxembourg ranks 26th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 6.1% (from 9.9% in 2018).
