At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2022, Luxembourg's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 1.6% compared to 2021, reaching 18.8%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 17.4%.

Luxembourg ranks 10th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 8.7% (from 17.3% in 2017).
