Fertility indicators

In 1998, Luxembourg's fertility indicators decreased by 1.8% compared to 1997, reaching 1.68.

Luxembourg ranks 7th out of 24 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 1.2% (from 1.70 in 1993).
