Population structure indicators at national level

In 2008, Luxembourg's population structure indicators at national level decreased by 0.4% compared to 2007, reaching 22.6.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 28.1.

Luxembourg ranks 21st out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 0.9% (from 22.8 in 2003).
