Population structure indicators at national level

In 2009, Luxembourg's population structure indicators at national level decreased by 0.9% compared to 2008, reaching 22.4.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 28.4.

Luxembourg ranks 23rd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 1.3% (from 22.7 in 2004).
