Unemployment by sex and age - annual data

In 2016, Luxembourg's unemployment by sex and age decreased by 6.0% compared to 2015, reaching 6.3%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 9.3%.

Luxembourg ranks 21st out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 28.6% (from 4.9% in 2011).
