Unemployment by sex and age - annual data

In 2021, Luxembourg's unemployment by sex and age decreased by 22.1% compared to 2020, reaching 5.3%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 7.1%.

Luxembourg ranks 18th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 15.9% (from 6.3% in 2016).
