Police-recorded offences by offence category

In 2017, Malta's police-recorded offences by offence category decreased by 9.3% compared to 2016, reaching 6,786.

Malta ranks 26th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 5.1% (from 7,148 in 2012).
