Police-recorded offences by offence category

In 2019, Malta's police-recorded offences by offence category increased by 1.5% compared to 2018, reaching 5,187.

Malta ranks 26th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 23.3% (from 6,763 in 2014).
