Police-recorded offences by offence category

In 2016, Malta's police-recorded offences by offence category increased by 3.6% compared to 2015, reaching 1,078.

Malta ranks 24th out of 24 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 17.5% (from 1,306 in 2011).
