Police-recorded offences by offence category

In 2017, Malta's police-recorded offences by offence category increased by 17.5% compared to 2016, reaching 1,267.

Malta ranks 24th out of 24 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 1.4% (from 1,285 in 2012).
