Police-recorded offences by offence category

In 2019, Malta's police-recorded offences by offence category increased by 4.9% compared to 2018, reaching 1,270.

Malta ranks 23rd out of 24 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 2.0% (from 1,245 in 2014).
