At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2021, Netherlands's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 2.1% compared to 2020, reaching 13.8%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 19.6%.

Netherlands ranks 23rd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 6.8% (from 14.8% in 2016).
