At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2020, Netherlands's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 1.7% compared to 2019, reaching 11.6%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 17.0%.

Netherlands ranks 22nd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 107.1% (from 5.6% in 2015).
